COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN
Chair: Daniela Blanco
Co-Chair: Daniela Díaz
Secretary: Elisa Conterno
1. Future career? Journalism.
2. What television show or movie should everyone see at least once? Everyone should see at least once "Our Planet" on Netflix which shows incredible pictures about our amazing planet, the wilderness found within it, and the importance of the protection of such in the global warming phase we are going through right now. Another great recommendation is "Knock the House Down" which features the journey of four working-class American women, such as Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, who are running for US Congress.
3. If your home was burning down, and you could only take three objects with you, which would they be? If my house was burning down the three things I would take are my identification documents, my laptop, and my headphones, which I can't live without.
4. If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be? Ambitious.
5. What would you do if you won the lottery? If I ever get to win the lottery I would invest 1/4 of the money in my college tuition and help pay my brother's tuition too. Another 1/4 of the money won would go to my savings account and I would gift my family another quarter of the lottery money, and finally the remaining one fourth would be donated to different organizations, charities, hospitals, and churches, such as the "San Juan de Dios" hospital which is very close to my heart.
6. What is in your bucket list? They are many things in my bucket list, but if I had to choose one of the things in my bucket list I would choose to be able to meet Greta Thunberg and be able to converse with her and thank her for defending our generation's and the coming generation's right to be able to "life, health, and peace" as stated on the convention on the Rights of Children.
7. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? I would love to be able to have teleportation as I would be able to appear in different places and never get to be late again.
8. Favorite quote: "Women belong in all the places where decisions are being made." Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
